01 Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading the PWA from https://altosignalapp.com, or using the Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and agree to these Terms. If using on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

02 Description of Services

AltoSignal provides a cloud-based communication platform for secure, real-time messaging, customizable channels, emergency alerts, message history, and acknowledgments. Services include a 30-day free trial, with paid plans at $3 per device/month or $24 per device/year. Enterprise options include API access, on-premise deployments, multi-user roles, TV output, and audit logs. We may update or modify Services at any time.

03 Account Registration and Use

To access Services, register via Outseta integration. Provide accurate information and maintain account security. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

04 User Obligations

• Use Services lawfully and in compliance with all applicable laws.
• Do not misuse, interfere with, or reverse-engineer the Services.
• Respect intellectual property and user content rights.
• For enterprises, ensure compliance with your internal policies.

05 Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Services (including software, designs, logos) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Services for your internal business purposes. No transfer of ownership.

06 User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., messages). By using Services, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display your content as needed to provide Services. You represent that your content does not infringe third-party rights.

07 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use Services for illegal activities or harassment.
• Transmit viruses, spam, or harmful code.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliations.
• Scrape or automate data extraction without permission.

Violations may result in immediate termination.

08 Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access for any reason, including violations. Upon termination, your license ends, and you must cease use. Provisions like Intellectual Property and Limitation of Liability survive.

09 Disclaimers

Services are provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free Services.

10 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from Services use, even if advised of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the past 12 months.

11 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of Services, violations of Terms, or infringement of rights.

12 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

13 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in California, except for small claims. You waive class action rights.

14 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be notified via email or website.

15 Miscellaneous

If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains enforceable. No waiver of any term is deemed a further waiver. These Terms constitute the entire agreement.
